Já viram o filme "Surf Nazis Must Die"?


A história do cinema está recheada de curiosidades irresistíveis. Como os títulos de filmes, por exemplo. Há títulos de filmes tão improváveis e bizarros que nem o rei da série B (ou Z, conforma a perspectiva) Ed Wood se lembraria. Todos os títulos de filmes listados em baixo correspondem, quase todos (excepção ao filme de Kubrick), a filmes de baixo orçamento e conotados com produções independentes de fraca criatividade. Não é um dado científico, mas poderá indiciar que, quanto mais estranho e ridículo for o título de um filme, mais probabilidade de se tratar de uma película medíocre e absolutamente dispensável (basta uma ida rápida ao Imdb.com para constatar isso mesmo). É certo que alguns filmes são paródias, tornando aceitável a originalidade do título, mas outros há que pretendem ser sérios, e aí o caso toma outras proporções. Por outro lado, os filmes com títulos patéticos levam-me a perguntar quem é que irá ver filmes ao cinema (ou comprará em DVD) cujos títulos sejam como estes:
